Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, November 5, 2016, Helen Thomey of Harbour Grace, age 86 years. Predeceased by parents: Norman and Molly Davis; sister: Mary; brothers: Russell, Jack, and Gordon. Leaving to mourn, her husband of 68 years: Bren; five daughters: Patricia (Allan) Pilgrim, Alberta, Phyllis (Joe) Hunt, Harbour Grace, Helen (Sylvain) Methot, Nova Scotia, Brenda (Lloyd) Reid, and Linda Laing (Bruce), both of Harbour Grace; twelve grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Tuesday, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, November 9 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NL, 1037 Topsail Road, Mt.
