BURDEN, Leonard D.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, November 15, 2007, Leonard D. Burden of Carbonear, age 85 years. Predeceased by sisters: Edna, Eva, Leana, Florence, Annie and Jean. Leaving to mourn, wife: Myrtle; two daughters: Vivian Burden, Carbonear and Peggy Burden, Toronto, ON; three sons: David (Nellie), Victoria, Leonard (Maxine), Harbour Grace and Jerry (Yvonne), Carbonear; eight grandchildren: Kenneth (Christina), Clark (Tina), Keith (Melanie), Peter (Sue), Scott, Glenn (Cindy), Penny and Robert; nine great-grandchildren: Hailey, Noah, Charles, Emily, MacKenzie, Tyler, Faith, Hannah and Olivia; sister-in-law: Vivian (John) O'Neill, Oshawa, ON and brother-in-law: Herb (Kay) King, NS; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Sunday, November 18. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Calvary Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Calvary Pentecostal Church Building Fund.
