O'REILLY, Alice- Passed suddenly away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, November 26, 2007, Alice O'Reilly of Victoria; formerly of Markland, age 71 years. Predeceased by husband: Kevin; parents: George and Alice Dobbin; sister: Gertrude Cole; brothers: Andrew and Leo Dobbin; sisters-in-law: Margaret Dobbin and Shirley O'Reilly; brother-in-law: Alex Cole. Leaving to mourn: one daughter: Beverley Griffin, Victoria; two grandsons: Kevin (Sarah) and Kyle, Victoria; one sister: Angela (Arthur) Cole, Victoria; special nieces: Rose (Lloyd) Clarke and Gertie (David) Stone, both of Victoria and Frances (Gordon) Laing, Ontario; sisters-in-law: Theresa Dobbin, Markland, Sheila (Clarence) Mercer, Whitbourne, Joan (John) Collins, St. John's, Marg (Adrian) Hickey, Freshwater, Placentia, Jean Murphy, Placentia, Colleen (Ed) Cumby, ON and Gertie (Gervey) Smith, Louisiana, USA; brother-in-law: Rudolph O'Reilly, Markland; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 28. Then resting at Holloway's Funeral Home, Whitbourne from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, November 29 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Whitbourne. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the St. Alphonsus R.C. Cemetery Fund, Whitbourne.
