Obituary of Harry Wheeler Jr.

Passed suddenly away at his residence in Marystown, after a lengthy struggle with heart disease, on Monday, April 10, 2017, Harry Wheeler Jr., age 57 years. Predeceased by father: Harry (2009); sister: Brenda (age 6 months - 1963); grandmother: Mavis Moores; grandparents: Edward and Elizabeth Wheeler. Leaving to mourn and celebrate his life are his mother: Velma, Karwood Retirement Retreat, Paradise; two daughters: Jessica & Sarah; brothers: Terry (Bonnie), Calgary and Wade (Ruth), Paradise; special and dear to his heart were his nieces: Kim (Max) and Katie (Derek), both of Calgary, and Nicole, Paradise; nephews: Justin (Fiancée-Laura) and Jason, both of Paradise; special friend: Shirley Hand, Marystown; also a large number of aunts, uncles and cousins from Victoria, Greenspond, Port-aux-Basque and many areas throughout Canada. At Harry’s request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be held at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carbonear on Friday, April 14th at 2 p.m. Harry enjoyed strumming a few hits on his guitar! His life can truly be summed up in the following lyrics of The Eagle’s Hit – “Take it to the Limit”.
