Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, April 17, 2017, Lillian Barbara Green of Carbonear; formerly of Hant’s Harbour, age 88 years. Predeceased by husband: Lawrence; brothers: John, Philip, Robert, Chesley, and Donald; sister: Gertrude. Leaving to mourn, two sisters: Elizabeth, Ontario, and Dorothy, Halifax, NS; special cousin: Eileen Green, Carbonear; special friend: Ruby Pike, Carbonear; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; then resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Winterton on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, April 20 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Winterton. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Hant's Harbour. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Cemetery, Hant’s Harbour, c/o Lower Trinity Corps, P.O. Box 29, Hant’s Harbour, NL, A0B 1Y0.
