Obituary of Gerald Carnell
Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, May 19, 2017, Gerald Carnell of Ochre Pit Cove, age 74 years. Predeceased by sons: Stephen, Gerald and Reggie; parents: Stephen and Gertrude; sisters: Lorraine (Carson) Crocker, Rita (Jim) Crowley, Edith (Harold) Coish, and Marion (Joseph) Peach; brother: John R. Leaving to mourn, wife: Helen; seven daughters: Margaret McCann, Annette McCann, Darlene (Roger) Pike, Kim Carnell, Geraldine (Craig) Green, Tracey Carnell, Janice Carnell (Johnny Baker); eleven grandchildren: Dalton, Jessica, Helena, Brady, Mitchell, Julia, Lucas, Terrilynn, Andrew, Stephen, and Shane; two great-grandchildren: Hayden and Maggie Mae; two sisters: Mildred (John) Baggs and Florence (Gordon) Learning; also a large number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay on Saturday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, May 22 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Ochre Pit Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the North Shore Central Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 159, Broad Cove, NL, A0A 1L0.
