DEERING, Margaret - Passed away at her residence on Thursday, November 22, 2012, Margaret Ula Deering of Carbonear; formerly of Flatrock, Freshwater, Carbonear age 65 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Sadie Deering; 1st husband: Tony Chenard; sisters: Gladys and Elsie; brothers: John C. and Gideon. Leaving to mourn, children: Mario (Elizabeth), Carbonear, Lianne (Kevin) and Celine (John), both of Ontario and Danielle (Daniel), PA, USA; grandchildren: Ashley (Curtis), Anthony, Andrew, Troy, Cody, Daniel, Julie and Savanna; great-grandchildren: Michael and Braden; sisters: Janice (Frederick) Somers, AB, Marilyn (Eric) Clarke, Victoria, Cynthia (Derrick) Hiscock, AB, Joan (Randy) Slade, Salmon Cove and Elaine (Ted) Butt, Freshwater, Carbonear; brothers: Wilfred (Joan) Deering, Freshwater, Carbonear, Melvin (Carol) Deering, ON, Jerry (Julie) Deering, New Harbour, John Jr. 'Jack' (Ada) Deering, Freshwater, Carbonear and Gary (Christine) Deering, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Private family visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, November 29 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Cremation to follow. Inurnment on Saturday, December 1 at 10:00 a.m. from the United Church Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Margaret Deering Memorial Fund.
