Passed away at Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, Eleanor Mae King; formerly of Western Bay, age 97 years. Predeceased by parents: Eli and Jane Cooper; husband: Daniel King; brother: Bill Cooper; sisters: Muriel Hamlyn, Blanche Pike Thomas, and Cecily Fulton; also nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She leaves to celebrate her life, nephews: Lloyd Pike, Howard Pike, and Wallace Cooper; nieces: Charlene Fulton, Diane Spitzer, and Janice Garving, also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Wednesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, October 5 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Western Bay South.  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Baccalieu Trail S.P.C.A., P.O. Box 273, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1B7.
