Obituary of Jackie Chubbs

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, Jackie Chubbs of Salmon Cove, age 63 years. Predeceased by parents: Roy and Mildred Slade; sisters: Miranda Slade, Sharon Slade, and Peggy Gear; parents-in-law: Gordon and Josephine Chubbs. Leaving to mourn, husband: Calvin; one daughter: Lisa Chubbs, Salmon Cove; one son: Robert (Rhonda), Whiteway; two grandchildren: Colby and Caylee; two brothers: Leslie (Linda), Salmon Cove and Wade, Victoria; one sister: Renee (Wayne) Kelloway, Salmon Cove; brother-in-law: Richard Gear, Mt. Pearl; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Friday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, October 27 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove.
