Obituary of Ellen M. Barry

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility on Sunday, December 3, 2017, Ellen M. Barry of Carbonear, age 96 years. Predeceased by parents: Felix and Sara Butt; husband: Bernard Barry; daughter: Patricia Clarke; son-in-law: Frank Ryan; brothers: Felix, Isaac, Matthew, and William; brother-in-law: William Cousins; niece: Debbie Manners; step-grandson: John Ryan.  Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Donna Ryan and Agnes (Sid) Butt; two grandsons: Jarad and Daniel Clarke; sister: Doreen Cousins; son-in-law: Clayton 'Tom' (Lois) Clarke; special friends: Linda and Judy; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Monday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday, December 6 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear. Interment in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear.  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation, 31 Peet Street, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3P8.
