Obituary of Edward Pollett

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre, St. John's, on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, Edward Pollett of Harbour Grace; formerly of Buchans, age 79 years. Predeceased by parents: Herbert and Helena; sister: Bertha (Dave) Baresford; brother: Charles (Lillian); sister-in-law: Judy Pollett; brothers-in-law: Ray Higdon and Roy Mullins. Leaving to mourn, wife: Loretta; one daughter: Susan (Glenn) Keough, Topsail; two sons: Sandy (Janice), Holyrood and Sheldon, St. John’s; five granddaughters: Ashley, Ceara, Madeleine, Bronwyn, and Sophie; one great-granddaughter: Ava; three brothers: Joe (Bernice), Centreville, Albert (Kim), Upper Gullies, and Dave, Whiteway; two sisters: Elva Higdon, Whiteway and Millie Mullins, Ontario; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Friday, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace.  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace, PO Box 28, Harbour Grace, NL, A0A 2M0.
