My most sincere condolences on the passing of my Uncle Ed. My Mom, Emily, told many heartwarming stories of her brother and I have fond memories of the times I spent with him when I visited Newfoundland. God Bless. I know he's in heaven with my Mom, his Mom & Dad, and his sisters.

Cheryl and I are so saddened to hear of Uncle Ed's passing though we truly believe he is in a better place. I will always cherish the good times we had. I remember from when I was a small child how he would lift me up and let me touch the ceiling beams in Nan's & Pop's old house. I remember how he and Pop laughed when I was a small child and called a rabbit a "stump-tail, woolly ass". Even when we would speak on the phone or when I visited in later years, he and I would always get a laugh out of that. And as the illness the robbed him of his memories grew worse, many times he still knew who I was when I would say, "Do you know who it is; it's me - stump-tail, woolly ass". I will always remember you Uncle Ed. May you now find rest and peace. Our sincerest sympathies to Jane, Barry and Robert. May the memories and love that you all shared comfort you at this difficult time and as you go on without him. Sadly, Cheryl and I won't be able to make it to the funeral but rest assured you will never be far from our thoughts.

I had the pleasure of working with Ed Dean at Saunders/Howell ever so many years ago. A hard working, kind, caring, and, sometimes, witty man. Thanks for the advice Ed. Rest In Peace. You deserve it.
