Obituary of Sherry 'Anne' Penney
Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, Sherry "Anne" Penney of Salmon Cove, age 56 years. Predeceased by parents: Clyde and Florence Payne; father-in-law: Norman Penney. Leaving to mourn, husband: Nelson, one brother: James (Judy) Payne, Illinois, USA; half-brother: Kevin Bennett, Bridgewater, NS; half-sister: Vivian (Brian) McCarthy, Corner Brook; mother-in-law: Rosalie Penney, Victoria, sister-in-law: Viola (Max) Moore, Victoria; niece: Jennifer (Jeff) Slade, Victoria; great-nephew: Jack; great-niece: Julianne, God-daughter: Taylor Ellsworth and special friends: Harvey and Debbie Slade, also members of 'Anne’s' home away from home, her Dialysis Team which included nurses, doctors, staff and patients of the Dialysis Unit at the Carbonear General Hospital; also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, April 7 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Dialysis Unit c/o Carbonear General Hospital, 86 Highroad South, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A4.
