Obituary of Marion Hopkins

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, April 1, 2018, Marion Hopkins of Bay de Verde, age 73 years. Predeceased by husband: Pleamon, daughter: Lynne Marie, parents: Clarence and Alfreda Sutton. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Rona (Clark) Bickford, Paradise and Roxanne (Kenneth) Flight, Small Point; three grandchildren: Scott (Emma), Danielle, and Abigail; one brother: Richard (Veronica) Sutton, Bay de Verde; four sisters: Sophie (Harry) Bussey, Port de Grave, Beatrice (Stan) Reid and Alice (Norman) Harnum, both of Dildo, and Gussie (Edgar) Harris, Mount Pearl; special friend: Ron Matthews, Goulds; special cousin: Llewellyn Coish, Bay de Verde, also a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, April 7 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Barnabas Anglican Church and Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
