Passed peacefully away at the Lion's Manor, Placentia, on Thursday, May 17, 2018, Melvin Knapman of Western Bay, age 74 years. Predeceased by wife: Rita (nee O'Rielly); parents: Herbert and Sarah Jane 'Sadie'; brothers: William and Harold. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Misty Knapman (Ivan); step-son: Dale O'Rielly; three grandchildren: Rachele, Isabella, and Alex; four sisters: Ruby (John) Kernaghan, Rosemary Manuel (Howard, deceased), Linda Kennell (Melvin, deceased), and Donna Sheppard (Wayne); sister-in-law: Grace Knapman; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. At Melvin’s request cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
