Obituary of Tony Kielley
- Passed away unexpectedly at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Friday, June 1, 2018, Tony Kielley of Ochre Pit Cove, age 48 years. Predeceased by parents: Leo and Violet. Tony was a well-known mechanic on the north shore who owned and operated Kielley’s Garage along with his two employees Cody (Coco) Johnson and Ron Butt. Tony was a kind and caring man who always had a smile. Leaving to mourn with fondest memories his partner of 29 years: Karen Oliver and their fur baby Lulu; brother: Rick (Sarah), Ochre Pit Cove; sisters: Karen (Raymond), Grates Cove and Linda Trickett, Harbour Grace; parents-in-law: James and Marion Oliver, Burnt Point; sisters-in-law: Susan and Leona; nieces: Cassandra, Cindy, Crystal, Danielle, and Kaitlyn; nephews: Jason and Matthew; uncle: Ches (Joyce) Hurrell, Ochre Pit Cove; the staff, or as Tony called them “Angels” at the Carbonear General Hospital Dialysis Unit, along with many special friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, June 7 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted.
