Passed peacefully away at Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Saturday, June 16, 2018, Larry Oliver of Caplin Cove, age 73 years. Predeceased by parents: Maurice and Mary Oliver; brothers: John and Jimmy; special uncle and aunt: Patrick and Ellen Oliver. Leaving to mourn, wife: Rose; one daughter: Lori; two brothers: Raymond Williams and Jim Williams; five sisters: Betty Penney, Ann (Pat) Carrigan, Joan (Clayton) Williams, Jean (David) Walsh, and Rosemary (Jerome) Chafe; special nephew: Perry Power; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay, on Wednesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, June 21 at 12:00 noon from Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde. Inurnment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Low Point. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of NL, 108-835 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl, NL, A1N 3J6 or to the Parkinson’s Society of NL, Suite 305, 136 Crosbie Road, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3K3.
