Obituary of Wilson Pottle
Passed suddenly but peacefully away at his residence on Saturday, June 23, 2018, Wilson Pottle of Carbonear; formerly of Lower Island Cove, age 75 years. Predeceased by wife: Mary; parents: William and Ethel; brothers: Bob, Stan, and Andrew. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Petrina Pottle, Carbonear; one son: James, Carbonear; grandfather to five grandchildren who they sometimes affectionately referred to as daddy: Destiny, Logan, Clover, Quinn, and Cassidy; four brothers: Fred (Debbie), Ochre Pit Cove, Wayne and Garfield (Karen), both of Ontario, and Paul (Gail), Job’s Cove; one sister: Marion Amon, Ontario; sisters-in-law: Lee Pottle, Northern Bay, Vivian Pottle, Old Perlican, Donna (Brian) Mahoney and Fayne (Wayne) March, both of Mount Pearl; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.; 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, June 28 at 2:00 p.m. from the Gospel Hall, Burnt Point. Interment in the Gospel Hall Cemetery, Burnt Point. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Gospel Hall, Burnt Point c/o Fred Pottle, P.O.
