Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Dr. A.A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Sunday, July 8, 2018, Ethel Jane LeShane of Lower Island Cove, age 89 years. Predeceased by husband: Frederick; son: Earl; parents: Harold and Carrie Sparkes; sister: Annie Sparkes; brothers-in-law: Philip LeShane and Robert Reid; sister-in-law: Jean LeShane. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Sandra (Eldred) Pike, Carbonear; daughter-in-law: Yvonne LeShane, Paradise; four grandchildren: Shane, Shannon (Blair), Justin (Natalie), and Renee; brother: Philip (Mabel) Sparkes, Lower Island Cove; sister: Naomi Reid, Paradise; sister-in-law: Florence LeShane, Lower Island Cove; brothers-in-law: Lloyd LeShane and Frank (Margaret) LeShane, both of Lower Island Cove; special friend: Mary LeShane, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove on Monday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, July 11 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Lower Island Cove.
