Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, July 12, 2018, Harold King of Carbonear, age 69 years. Predeceased by wife: Joan; parents: Wilson and Ellie; infant sister: Betty; sisters: Judy Colbourne and Effie Mercer. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Kimberley King, Kelligrews; one son: Harold (Sarah), Saskatoon, SK; four grandchildren: Samantha, Keerah, Daniel, and Ayda; four brothers: Albert (Joan), Victoria, Lindsay (Karen), Perry’s Cove, Wilson (Joy), Salmonier, and Byron (Kellie), Carbonear; three sisters: Doris (David) Clarke, Carbonear, Phyllis (David) Collins, Victoria, and Rosalie (David) McDermit, Saskatchewan; brothers-in-law: John Colbourne, Carbonear and Gerald Mercer, Coley’s Point; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear on Friday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, July 15 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
