Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, Peter V. Hogan of Gull Island, age 73 years. Predeceased by parents: Richard and Elizabeth; sister: Frances; brother: Michael. Leaving to mourn, wife: Winnie; one son: Bryan (Shelly), Small Point; one step-son: Donnie Oliver, Gull Island; three grandchildren: Cassie, Bryanna, and Caelum; one brother: Patrick (Loretta), Gull Island; sister-in-law: Nora Hogan, Branch; close family friends: Tommy and Donna, Gull Island; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Friday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, August 4 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Inurnment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay.  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation, 300 Prince Philip Drive, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3V6.
