Obituary of Elizabeth 'Betty' O'Reilly
Passed peacefully away after a short battle with cancer at the Carbonear General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, Elizabeth O'Reilly of Northern Bay, age 56 years. Predeceased by parents: William P. and Ellen Mullaly; infant sister: Bridget Maureen. Leaving to mourn, partner: Wade Dowden; two daughters: Crystal Mahaney (Billy) and Tracey Sparkes; one son: Shane O'Reilly; one step-son: Kyle Dowden; three special grandchildren: Bailey, Jenna, and Ally; two brothers: Edward 'Ted' (Jenny) Mullaly and John Mullaly; four sisters: Andria (Terry) Lopp, Rose (Dan) Burcombe, Patricia (Bruce) Oliver, and Annette Mullaly (Gil); special friends: Bobby Hogan and Liz (Herb) Mercer; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Sunday, 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, August 27 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Private family inurnment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Elizabeth ‘Betty’ O’Reilly Memorial Fund c/o Noel’s Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
