Obituary of Gladys Thoms

Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, October 26, 2018, Gladys Thoms of Carbonear, age 79 years. Predeceased by parents: George and Margaret King; brothers: Freeman, George, Melvin, Ralph, and Victor; sisters: Marjorie and Cynthia. Leaving to mourn, husband: Guy; one daughter: Joy (Harold), Paradise; one son: Rod, Waterloo, ON; two grandchildren: Chelsea (Luke) and Katie (Dave); two sisters: Matilda Crann, Fair Haven, Placentia Bay and Gloria Badcock, St. John’s; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, October 29 at 3:30 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Water Street, Carbonear. Inurnment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
