Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, November 17, 2018, Hazel M. Sellars of Western Bay, age 97 years. Predeceased by husband: George Edward 'Ted'; infant daughter: Donna; son: Carter; parents: James and Ina May Crummey; sisters: Vera, Blanche, Serena, Agnes, June, Doris, and Hilda; brother: Angus. Leaving to mourn, daughter: June of Western Bay, currently residing at Callingwood Downs Retirement Home, Clarke’s Beach; two grandchildren: Sharon and Shaun (Phoebe); two great-grandchildren: Caroline and Carter; daughter-in-law: Joanne (Richard); brother: Roy Crummey; two sisters: Elizabeth 'Betty' and Eulah; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Sunday, 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Monday, 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, November 19 at 1:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Western Bay North. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to McDowell United Church, c/o Berkley Sellars, P.O. Box 75, Western Bay, NL, A0A 4J0.
