Obituary of Andrew McCarthy

Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, Andrew McCarthy of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 80 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Margaret; sister: Maude (Tom) McCarthy and Emmie (Leonard) Smith; brothers-in-law: Gordon Drover, Ray Reynolds, Paul White, and Louis 'Shawn' Marshall. Leaving to mourn, his wife of 60 years: Angela; two daughters: Margie (Tony) Galway, Riverhead, Harbour Grace and Andrea (John) Peddle, Torbay; two sons: Paul (Marg) and Gary (Sharmane), both of Riverhead, Harbour Grace; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters: Bertha Drover and Clara Reid, Upper Island Cove; members of the Reynolds Family and also a large number of other relatives and friends. Special thank you to Dr. Renelle Butt who was always just a phone call away; homecare worker: Marchell Pike, and staff on the 6^th floor, Carbonear General Hospital. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Thursday, 4:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, November 24 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
