Obituary of Nellie Alcock

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, Nellie Alcock of Carbonear, age 71 years. Predeceased by infant son: Jeffrey Boyd; parents: George and Janet Penney; infant brother; brother-in-law: George Greeley. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Kim (Calvin) Roberts, Kelowna, BC; one son: Philip (Bev), Grand Prairie, AB; three brothers: Jim (Ada) Penney, Carbonear, Henry (Bernadette) Penney, Cambridge, ON, and George (Janice) Penney, Carbonear; one sister: Lillian Greeley, Carbonear; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Inurnment to be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Daffodil Place, 70 Ropewalk Lane, St. John's, NL, A1E 5T2.
