Passed peacefully away at his residence on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, Cecil R. Buckler of Northern Bay, age 65 years. Predeceased by parents: Maxwell and Nellie; brothers: Wilson, Harold, and Melvin; sister: Joy. Leaving to mourn, wife: Jean; daughter: Melanie (Greg Oliver), Paradise; son: Steven (Kayla), St. John’s; two grandchildren: Avery and Jack; two sisters: Daphne (Cecil 'June' Reid), Carbonear and Juanita (Leonard) King, Blackhead; close friend: Wilf; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, December 7 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Cecil Buckler Memorial Fund c/o Noel’s Funeral Homes, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
