Obituary of Andrew King

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, December 15, 2018, Andrew King of Victoria, age 88 years. Predeceased by son: Brian; parents: Richard and Flora Jane; siblings: Mariam, Vera, Effie, Kathleen, George, Eric, Warren, May, Eileen, and Myrtle; step-granddaughter: Stephanie. Leaving to mourn, wife: Marion, Callingwood Downs, Clarke’s Beach; one daughter: Judy (Stanley) Buckle, Seven Islands, QC; three sons: Wayne (Doris), Brampton, ON, Boyd, Edmonton, AB, and Spencer (Barbara), Perry’s Cove; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three brothers: Bert (Bernice), Mt. Pearl, Bill (Linda), Ontario, and Doug (Theresa), New Brunswick; one sister: Ruth Burden, Ontario; brother-in-law: Clayton Lynch, Upper Island Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, December 20 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Perry's Cove. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Perry's Cove.  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the United Church, Perry's Cove, P.O.
