Obituary of Elizabeth 'Betty' Warren

Passed peacefully away on Sunday, January 6, 2019, Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Warren (nee Dowden) of Carbonear; formerly of St. John’s, age 81 years. Predeceased by husband: George; parents: Chesley and Annie Dowden; sisters: Margaret and Patricia. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Gale (Cory) Giles, St. John's; son: Chesley (Karen), Paradise; two grandchildren: Addyson and Joshua; sister: Ruth Kenny, Halifax; brother: Chesley Dowden, St. John’s; sisters-in-law: Susan 'Susie' Smith, New Perlican and Joan Warren, St. John's; brother-in-law: James, Gander; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Friday, 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, January 12^th at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear.
