PARSONS, Emma - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, December 21, 2012, Emma Parsons of Salmon Cove, age 78 years. Predeceased by husband: Ronald; infant son; parents: Alfred and Fannie Churchill; brothers: Harold, Caleb, Levi, John and Victor; sisters: Doreen Churchill, Vera Hall, Evelyn Noseworthy, Sarah Churchill, Doreen LeGrow and Blanche Neary. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Sharon (Gary) Clarke, Salmon Cove and Roxanne (Shawn) Snow, Carbonear; four sons: Terry (Olive), Craig, Darryl (Susan) and Brent (Lorna), all of Salmon Cove; seven grandchildren: Justin, Janelle, Krista (Shawn), Kayla, Brandon, Shawn and Madison; one brother: Fred (Sadie) Churchill, Portugal Cove; one sister: Phyllis Somerton, Portugal Cove; sister-in-law: Leone Parsons, Salmon Cove; brothers-in-law: Augustus Noseworthy, Portugal Cove, Nelson LeGrow, Corner Brook, Eli (Stella) Parsons, Salmon Cove and Oscar Parsons, Small Point; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, December 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
