Obituary of Reginald 'Reg' Cox

Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, January 11, 2019, Reginald ‘Reg’ Cox of Harbour Grace, age 90 years. Predeceased by two infant sons; parents: William and Martha; brothers: Bob and Jim; sisters: Dorothy Cox and Judy Dunne; brother-in-law: Gordon Dunne Leaving to mourn, his wife of 67 years: Beatrice; one son: Bill (Terrie), Harbour Grace; four daughters: Judy (John) Newman, Peggy (Pat) Hearn, Patsy (Terry) Barnes, all of Harbour Grace, and Pauline (Keith) Byrne, Holyrood; ten grandchildren: Chris (Jennifer), Michael (Jennifer), David (Krista), Steven, Matthew (Tara), Stephanie (Mike), Jamie, Bryan (Barbara Ann), Terilyn (Sarah), and Olivia; twelve great-grandchildren; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Monday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. DUE TO WEATHER THE FAMILY HAS POSTPONED THE FUNERAL SERVICE UNTIL WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 16 AT 11:00 A.M. from  St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Inurnment to be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Baccalieu Trail S.P.C.A., P.O. Box 273, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1B7.
