From Kim Moores Nicholson and Sandy Nicholson.
Aunt Dot lived with my grandparents and when, as a little girl, I would visit them, I would be allowed to play with a precious and very old doll that belonged to my grandmother. Nanny bequeathed the doll to Aunt Dot and she in turn gave it to me. I treasure those memories and still have that doll to this day. Dot was certainly colourful and interesting and well ahead of her time as a career woman banker. We shared a passion for beautiful clothes.
My sincere condolences to my Uncle Carl the last living sibling of that family.

My father, George, joins with me in sending our condolences to the Moores family. The Moores family were close neighbours and friends, in Blackhead. Growing up, I always enjoyed chatting with Dot and in later years visiting with her at Luxury Estates. A special lady.

Aunt Dot was an integral part of our family. She was engaged and involved with all of her nephews and nieces throughout our lives . My special memories of her are of when I was in my teens driving with her in her car , with the radio nice and loud, to Northern Bay sands on early Saturday summer mornings just to walk the beach and talk about the events of the week. She was passionate about so many things: a beautiful sweater or colourful scarf, a great movie or a newsworthy event and most especially her family and what was new and important in our lives. Our memories of her will remain as colorful and vivid as she was.
