Obituary of Frances Snow
Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, January 19, 2019, Frances Snow of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband: Harold F.; granddaughter: Susan; great-grandson: Daelen; daughter-in-law: Mildred; parents: Eugene and Hazel Marshall; sisters: Mildred and Jean; niece: Valerie. Leaving to mourn, four daughters: Linda (Kevin) Murphy, Jo-ann (Budd) Butt, both of Freshwater, Goldie (Ken) Lynch, Lisle, ON, and Kimberly (Trevor), Freshwater; four sons: William (Beverly), Baie Verte, Phillip (Cathy), Carbonear, Kenneth (Lenore), Freshwater, and Ainsley, Scarborough, ON; thirteen grandchildren: Embry (Lori), Davis (Vanessa), Sherri, Stentaford, Jennifer (Wally), Richard, Rebecca (Danny), Adam (Ghyslaine), Dale (Lori), William, Terry (Tanya), Clinton, and Brittney; fourteen great-grandchildren: Milla, Olivia, Darcey, Lauren, Kieran, William, Aaliyah, Callen, Mason, Reed, Peter, Andrew, Xander, and Shelby; two brothers: Wayne (Ella) Marshall and Dennis (Louise) Marshall, both of Carbonear; one sister: Donna (Fred) Hiscock, Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Betty (Harold) Forward, Carbonear and Ethelwynne (Clayton) Parsons, Freshwater; special friend: Rhoda Snow, Freshwater; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, January 22 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation, 31 Peet Street, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3W8.
