Obituary of Ada M. Rogers

Passed peacefully away at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Sunday, January 20, 2019, Ada M. Rogers of Harbour Grace, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband: Gerald Gordon; sons: Baby Rogers and Gerald Gordon Jr.; parents: Samuel and Eva Jones; brothers: Douglas (Nellie) Clarke, Olaf (Ada) Jones; sisters: Bernice (Clifford) Lundrigan and Georgina (Leslie) Tilley. Leaving to mourn, four children: Roy (Joan), Harbour Grace, May Fry (Vernon Dawe), North River, Garry (Gail), Harbour Grace, Barbara (Corey) Sheppard, Carbonear; eleven grandchildren: Howard, Scott (Amanda), Gregory (Anne-Marie), Ginger, Roy (Kimberlee), Dale (Darryl), Cherie (Graham), Richard, Christa (Robert), Christian, and Sebastian; ten great-grandchildren: Mark, Sara, Reanna, Jacob, Cameron, William, Zachery, Blake, Jackson, and Alanna; one brother: Samuel (Patsy) Jones, Whitbourne; also a number of other relatives and friends.  Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace on Monday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, January 23 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
