Obituary of Rev. Wm. Sidney Payne

Passed peacefully away at the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, Rev. Wm. Sidney Payne of Carbonear, age 73 years. Predeceased by parents: George and Eva; brothers: Charles and Wilson (Gladys). Leaving to mourn, wife: Lina; two sons: Bob, St. John’s and Major Dr. Arthur (Cynthia), Paradise; three grandchildren: Jacob, Connor, and Sarah; one brother: Milton (Dorothy), Ontario; sister: Lucy (Allan, deceased) House, Heart’s Content; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, February 1 at 11:00 a.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
