Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, February 2, 2019, Bridget ‘Bride’ Shea of Harbour Grace, age 85 years. Predeceased by husband: Michael; parents: John and Madeline Southwell; brothers: Bill and Jack. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Lisa (Albert) Clarke, Torbay, Linda (Alvin) Wareham, Carbonear, and Debbie (Maurice) Oliver, Gull Island; one son: Terry, Edmonton, AB; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother: George (Mary) Southwell, Spruce Grove, AB; sisters-in-law: Linda Southwell, Stephenville and Olive Southwell, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Monday, 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, February 5 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Bride Shea Memorial Fund, c/o Noel’s Funeral Homes, P.O. Box 1001, Harbour Grace, NL, A0A 2M0.
