Obituary of Harold Burke

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, March 3, 2019, Harold Burke of Victoria, age 89 years. Predeceased by wife: Jean; daughter: Goldie; son-in-law: Michael; parents: James and Louise; brothers: Harry (Bernice), Albert (Elizabeth), Arthur, George, and Daniel; sisters: Elizabeth (Joe), Irene (Arthur), Louise (Ron), and Maude (Charles). Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Brenda Merrigan, Victoria and Beverley (Elywin) Burke, Clarenville; one son: Tony (Karen), Cold Brook; eight grandchildren: Michael (Jullie), Jason (Laura), Samantha (Michael), Tony, Tiffany, Charles (Carly), Jordan (Natasha), and Jessica; four great-grandchildren: Jason 'JJ', Dale, Oliver, and Rory; members of Jean's family, the Parsons family; and a circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
