Obituary of Shirley Rose

Passed suddenly but peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, March 28, 2019, Shirley Rose of Victoria, age 70 years. Predeceased by mother: Annie Earle; daughter: Wanda; great-grandchildren: Kyah and Kara Penney; brothers: Robert, John, and Melvin; sister: Fronie. Leaving to mourn, husband: Edison; two daughters: Trudy (Walter) Snow, Victoria and Lori (Terry) Penney, Carbonear; one son: Jason (Michelle), Victoria; eight grandchildren: Kayla, Brandon, Justin, Jonathon, Jeremy, Nakita, Stephen, and Deven; fourteen great-grandchildren; one brother: William Earle, Victoria; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, March 31 at 2:30 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Inurnment to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation, 31 Peet Street, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3W8.
