Obituary of Donna Downing

Passed peacefully but suddenly away at her residence on Friday, April 5, 2019, Donna Downing of Victoria, age 68 years. Predeceased by 1^st husband: Wallace Kennell; parents: Allan and Molly Clarke; brothers: Reg, Bill and Edward; sister: Claudette Smith; brothers-in-law: Elihu Snook and Bert Downing; sister-in-law: Elsie Clarke. Leaving to mourn, husband: Dave; one daughter: Lori (Mike) Reynolds, Salmon Cove; one son: Scott (Michelle) Kennell, Guelph, ON; three grandchildren: Joshua, Ben and Katie; three sisters: Ramona (Dennis) Cole, Carbonear, Annie Snook, Victoria, and Goldie (Danny) Mercer, Scarborough, ON; brothers-in-law: Bernard Smith and Cyril Downing; sisters-in-law: Glenda (Eric) Colbourne and Lydia Downing;  also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Inurnment in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria.  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Donna Downing Memorial Fund, c/o Noel's Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
