Obituary of George Reginald 'Reg' Hiscock
Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, April 7, 2019, George Reginald ‘Reg’ Hiscock of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 77 years. Predeceased by wife: Jessie; sons: Geoffrey and Derek; daughter-in-law: Beverley; parents: Wilfred and Annie; brother: Ivan Hiscock; sister: Gertrude Kenny; parents-in-law: John and Ella Mae Hiscock; brothers-in-law: George King, Randolph Butt, and Roy Hiscock; sisters-in-law: Mildred Snow and Mary (Ernest) Janes. Leaving to mourn, two sons: Greg (Lynne), Ottawa, ON and Scott (Susan), Windsor, NS; daughter-in-law: Kim Hagey, Alberta; four grandchildren: Danielle (Richard), Benjamin, Curtis, and Matthew; one great-grandchild: Parker; three brothers: Frederick (Donna) and Wayne (Gwen), both of Carbonear, and Derek (Cynthia), Alberta; two sisters: Barbara King and Dianne Butt, both of Carbonear; brothers-in-law: John (Hilda) Hiscock and Philip Snow, both of Carbonear, and Charlie Kenny, Fermeuse; sisters-in-law: Sylvia Hiscock, Islington and Ella Hiscock, Victoria; good friends: Frank Hawkins, Aubrey Noftall, and Fern Davis; also a large number of other relatives and friends. At Reg’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
