I don't know where to start about such a remarkable man. The Town of Victoria and surrounding areas are at a great loss. This man has dedicated so many hours of his life in the past few years helping others live easier, they are just to many to count. From delivering a turkey to someone at Christmas, or delivering a house full of furniture and everything in between he has given himself freely to make sure those he knew who were without, weren't without very long if it was within his power to change it. The only word I can think of to describe him is a Saint.
On behalf of the citizens, staff, council members and myself. I want to express our sincere condolences to Vic's family. May God give you the strength to get through the days ahead.
"Go rest high on that mountain, Son your work on earth is done. Go to Heaven a shoutin, Love for the Father and the Son."

I was so sad to hear of Vic"s passing. I have known this family for at least 40 plus years. My dad and Vic were team-mates on the bowling team called "The Appolos".I will always remember the first time dad took me out to the old Orange Lodge in Carbonear . The pins were not automatic then and somebody had to be the setter. Well guess who got nominated their first night there? Yeah, you guessed it and by Vic. He looked at me and said," My son if your gonna be an Appollo one day, there's no better way to learn than to see exactly where to hit em to make em fall". I guess he felt I was going to follow along in their footsteps. I always admired his dedication and enthusiasm, not only in bowling but in his life in general. He was a man who gave his all in everything he did. I hope you, Dad, Rupbert, Jack and Ralph are striking out up there. You have rolled a perfect game here my friend.
God Bless you all.
