Obituary of Eldred 'Gus' Slade

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, May 25, 2019, Eldred Slade of Victoria, age 69 years. Predeceased by parents: James and Florence; brother: Alex; sister: Betty Earle; brother-in-law: Rude Baldwin. Leaving to mourn, wife: Zena; two sons: Robert (Tina), Edmonton, AB and Michael (Panna), Medicine Hat, AB; five grandchildren: Courtney, Lauraley, Everligh, Pim, and Eldred; one brother: Brian (Sandra), Victoria; three sisters: Daphne Baldwin, St. John’s, Maureen Power, St. John’s and Yvonne Slade, Salmon Cove; sister-in-law: Linda Slade, Victoria; brother-in-law: Will Earle, Victoria; also a number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, May 28 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. There will be no funeral service.
