Obituary of Vernon Snelgrove

Passed peacefully away at his residence on Saturday, June 1, 2019, Vernon Snelgrove of Northern Bay, age 68 years. Predeceased by parents: Simon and Gladys; brother: Harv; sisters: Mabel and Marion; brothers-in-law: Clive Noel and Murdock Driscoll; sister-in-law: Cynthia Snelgrove. Leaving to mourn, wife: Bridie; one daughter: Stephanie, Lower Island Cove; two sons: Sheldon (Natasha), Dildo and Stephen, Northern Bay; six grandchildren: Nickolas, Anneliese, Emily, Ciara, Mckenna, and Kailey; three brothers: Ebb, Toronto, ON, Norm (Jeanette), Chamberlains, and Randy (Carol), Mount Pearl; three sisters: Edna (Doug) Porter, Mount Pearl, Stella Noel, St. John’s, and Barb (John) Coish, Bay de Verde; sister-in-law: Hilda Snelgrove, Old Perlican; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Monday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 10:30 to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, June 5 at 11:00 a.m. from Memorial United Church, Burnt Point. Interment in the United Cemetery, Burnt Point.  In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the North Shore Central Ambulance, PO Box 159, Broad Cove, NL, A0A 1L0 or to Memorial United Church, Burnt Point.
