Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, June 1, 2019, Bill Luffman of Harbour Grace, age 84 years. Predeceased by parents: Harold and Elsie; brothers: James and Raymond (Mary). Leaving to mourn, wife: Gladys; two daughters: Wanda (David) Lynch, Harbour Grace and Christine (Brian) Abbott, Guelph, ON; one son: Wade (Jackie), Harbour Grace; five grandsons: Brandon, Lucas, Justin, Alex, and Toby; one brother: Harvey (Mary), Harbour Grace; three sisters: Freda (Kevin, deceased) Ivey, Clarke’s Beach, Alice (Lawrence, deceased) Barrett, Spaniard’s Bay, and Grace (James) Forward, Carbonear; sister-in-law: Helen Luffman, Toronto, ON; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Monday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, June 5 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
