Obituary of Frances L. Burke

Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, Frances L. Burke of Victoria, age 72 years. Predeceased by husband: Albert; parents: Maxwell and Lorraine Mercer; brothers: David, Paul, and Barry. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Wendy Burke, Carbonear and Kelly Burke (Glenn Seymour), Victoria; one son: Glenn, Carbonear; daughter-in-law: Carolyn Pike, Victoria; two precious grandchildren: Katie and Peter; two brothers: Bill (Gladys) Mercer, Spaniard’s Bay and Malcolm (Gloria) Mercer, Bay Roberts; one sister: Sandra Mercer, Coley’s Point; sisters-in-law: Peg Mercer, St. John’s, Bernice Mercer, Carbonear, Doneka Mercer, Conception Bay South, Betty Burke, and Linda Burke, both of Gander; brother-in-law: Arthur (Mae) Burke, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, 2:30 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, June 7 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Inurnment to be held on Sunday, June 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Cemetery, Victoria.
