Obituary of Jerry Harnum

Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, June 21, 2019, Jerry Harnum of Riverhead, Harbour Grace; formerly of Heart’s Delight, age 59 years. Predeceased by parents: George and Geraldine; infant son: Jamie; brother: Robert (Joyce); sister: Barbara Ann Legge. Leaving to mourn, wife: Betty; one daughter: Jennifer (David), St. John’s; three sons: Jeremy (Daunelle), St. John’s, Jamie (Keesha), Carbonear, and Justin, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; one brother: Melvin (Maxine), Heart’s Delight; two sisters: Mabel (Weldon) Jerrett and Olive (Merv) Jackson, both of Cavendish; brother-in-law: Calvin Legge, Heart’s Delight; special friends: Dexter Bishop and Ed Mercer; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Saturday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, June 24 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Upper Island Cove.
