Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, June 28, 2019, Doreen Penney of Salmon Cove, age 74 years. Predeceased by parents: Wallace and Nellie Trickett; nephew: Steven Trickett. Leaving to mourn, husband: Harris; two daughters: Cavelle (David) Dumper, Toronto, ON and Michelle (Andrew) Spencer, Kitchener, ON; five grandchildren: Eli, Benjamin, Samuel, William, and Isabella; brother: Ross (Bernadette) Trickett, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; sister: Ruby Parsons, Newmarket, ON; sister-in-law: Yvonne (Douglas) Butt, Norman’s Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. No visitation to be held. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, July 2 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Inurnment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove.
