Obituary of Madonna (Rose) Yetman
After courageously living with cancer for four years, Madonna (Rose) Yetman, 62, of Bristol’s Hope, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019 in her and her husband Paul’s beautiful cottage in Goose Pond, Whitbourne surrounded by nature and her family. Madonna was born in Smooth Cove to Peter and Winnifred Rose on May 30th, 1957. She served as a pharmacist in the Trinity-Conception and Placentia Bay areas in her community for over 35 years. She is preceded in death by: father: Peter Rose; nephew: Ryan Parsons. Left to remember her and mourn her loss, husband: Paul; her loving daughters: Renee and Laura Murray; step-daughter: Crystal (Danny) Churchill; step-son: Steven (Charlotte) Yetman; grandsons: Tyson and Daniel, whom she loved being with; beloved four legged companion: Maggie; mother: Winnifred Rose; two brothers: John-Joe (Pauline) Rose and Peter (Lolita) Rose; two sisters: Rita (Jim) Parsons and Gennie (Derrick) Rose; parents-in-law: Nathaniel and Blanche Yetman; sister-in-law: Sharon (Craig) Stone; brother-in-law: Wade (Gail) Yetman; many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends too countless to name. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Saturday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, July 8 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Cremation to follow. A private family inurnment to take place in St. Andrews Anglican Cemetery, Bryant’s Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Centre, 300 Prince Philip Drive, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3V6.
