Obituary of Naida Beck

Passed peacefully away at her home in St. Albert, Alberta on Sunday, July 21, 2019, Naida Eileen (Vaters) Beck, formerly of Salmon Cove and long time resident of Carbonear, age 88 years. Predeceased by husband: Harvey; parents: Ezekiel and Ethel Vaters; step-mother: Emily (Penney). Leaving to mourn, daughter: Genevra Eileen, St. Albert, AB; son: Derrick Bruce (Jane), Edmonton, AB; grandchildren: Allisonne, Tracy, Kelly, Tami (Dan), and Michael; great-grandchildren: Caila, Samantha, Stephanie, Joey, Dasha, Keara, Jorja, Shelby, and Silas; great-great-granddaughter: Ariel; brother: John (Lynn) Vaters, Salmon Cove; sister-in-law: Freda (Wes, deceased) Hopkins, Old Perlican; nieces: Denise (Danny), Danita (Ray), Vanessa (Barry), Vivian (Garry), and Pauline (Sean); nephew: Fred (Marion); and her beloved Boston Terrier companion: Bella; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation to be held at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, July 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Inurnment in Bethany United Church Cemetery, Carbonear.
