Obituary of Neville E. Garland

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, Neville E. Garland of Harbour Grace, age 79 years. Predeceased by parents: James and Dorothy; brothers: Charles, Cyril, and Max; sisters: Phyllis and Frances (Geoff) Fielding; sister-in-law: Beverley Crocker. Leaving to mourn, loving and devoted wife: Alice; proud father of his daughter: Stephanie (Chris) Oliver, Harbour Grace and son: Geoff (Denise), Winnipeg, MB; five grandchildren: Tristan, Ashley, Raina, Hayley, and Nathan; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Nina Garland, May Garland, Judy (Harold) Sheppard, Andy (Mary) Moriarty, and George Crocker; special family friend: Louise Penney Drover; caring homecare workers: Pauline, Wanda, and Sheila; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Wednesday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, September 6 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace.
